School Days

This was Carson's last week of school in the 3rd grade. It was also Ashley's last week watching Owen. She starts her summer daycamp job Monday. Special congrats to her for getting a kinder job in Pearland! And much love and gratitude to her for taking such good care of my precious boy for the last 5 months. Gemmy will be watching O next week while I finish school and packing up my classroom. Below are some pics from Carson's field day and my mom's school. BTW, Owen started sitting up from a laying down position all on his own. He rocks and crawls backwards but has not yet mastered crawling forwards.

Ashley, Owen and I all went down to Galveston the other day. We ate seafood, walked on the beach and visited the Titanic exibit at Moody Gardens.

Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday!!

This Sunday was my official first mother's day and my 27th birthday so it was double special! We spent the morning at church and then the afternoon with family. It was a beautiful day that I won't forget. Being Owen's mom is the best gift and he brings me more joy that I could have ever imagined. I love you Bubba O!! And, happy mother's day to my mom and all those mommies out there!

O had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite. He is fine but his leg and foot were all red and puffy. The doc said to try not to let him get bit again.....umm, Texas has got to be like the mosquito capital of the nation so wish me luck this summer trying to keep those nasty bugs away from my baby!!
