For all of you who were wondering and praying Owen DOES NOT have to wear a helmet for a flat spot. I'm sooooo happy!! The doc said as big as his head is (98%) one small flat area is not going to hurt anything and hopefully it will round out as he grows!!
He also weighed in at 23lbs 12 oz (93%) and get this-his height is 31 1/2 inches which is in the 98th percentile. The doc swears he is going to be over 6 feet tall and 200 pounds in high school, which Brian loves. (football, football, football) I'm not sure if I believe that yet but he did say he would be a good head taller than all the other kids in his class in elementary school. Where does he get that?? Possibly someone on Brian's biological side.
On a funny note the doctor suggested getting him to obey and listen now (his exact words were beat him now) so when/if he is way bigger than us he doesn't run the show!! I have always said he is my gentle giant. An example of this would be when he got his finger pricked yesterday he did not make a peep, but when it comes to getting his feelings hurt that boy can cry!! Oh, and no shots at the 9 month appt so that was a plus!
