Today was Owen's 2 month checkup. I can't believe it! Everyone says time will fly and he will grow fast and it is so true! We are trying to savor every moment.
We knew Owen was a big boy but he surpassed our estimates. He weighs 13 pounds 13 ounces, which according to the doctor is the size of a small 4 month old!! His weight puts him in the 98 percentile. His height is 24 1/2 inches long, which is the 99 percentile! The doctor said we will have to start him on cereal soon since he likes to eat. Daddy calls him Bubba, which now seems fitting. I think we have a future Dallas Cowboys line backer on our hands!
He had to get 2 shots and has to go back for another in a few weeks because its on backorder. He was a trooper and only cried for a few seconds. Overall, Owen is a happy and healthy growing boy and we are so blessed!
